Watercolor Class - Tulsa Country Club

Thursday night was such a dream! Tulsa Country Club hosted me for an oh so lovely watercolor class for their members. We painted the Tulsa skyline, the signature view from the TCC’s golf course.

With all the best supplies available, each class member sketched, inked, painted, and embellished their own Tulsa skyline. The best part of the class, besides teaching and practicing techniques, was watching everyone take the guidance and truly make the painting their own. Some included special landmarks, added an Oklahoma sunset, or really took advantage of the flowy watercolor for a modern drip technique.

Two hours went by quickly painting with friends in the window filled patio room. Each attendee received a detailed handout with tips and techniques and got to keep their supplies to continue practicing watercolor at home.
