September!

A month of transitions. Still feels like summer, but shops swap to pumpkins and sweaters. Hanging on to those last sunny pool days, but more weekends inside watching sports. Back to school, and one last Labor Day vacation. What a packed month!

There’s a special group of people who see the end of summer and immediately look through to the last of the year and start planning the gifts they’ll need for the rest of the year. To celebrate, I hosted a giveaway on Instagram of a fully custom 5x7 pet portrait! You all shared your pets that you’d love to have painted and, oh my gosh, I was squealing with “awww”s over the precious pet names and descriptions of your fur babies.

Speaking of Instagram, the bots and spam accounts are SO active right now. First to comment on posts, spam my DMs asking me to paint a pet, but only accept checks, wanting me to buy followers and likes, and on and on. Be careful out there on the ‘gram!
